Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. Sometimes when you sit long enough and relax all the chaos seems to disappear just like when you leave the shutter of a camera open for long enough the traffic and people just fade away and all you're left with is the beauty of the city lights.
This was shot in San Fransisco on Embarcadero street.
